Viva Laughlin. Episode 1. Another of the most reviled shows on TV turns out to be... not that bad. Once again, the critics are over-reacting. It's actually kinda blah. The music numbers are bland and odd. Not unwatchable. Not enjoyable either, unfortunately. When the characters star to sing along to well known songs, it's mildy annoying. That's all. I had no real problem watching it. But it all seems so irrelevant to the story that you've got to wonder... why? One the whole this had the exact same impact on me as Cane. It's average stuff. The music doesn't add to it, or differentiate it in the slightest. The fact that I couldn't care less about the show has nothing to do with the musical numbers. It's just another blah show in a long line of blah shows.
